Barrier Netting & Hardware

One of the most important components in a barrier netting system is the material that is used. Forenet uses Polyester, High-Tenacity Polypropylene and Dyneema® netting materials with a knotted or knotless diamond mesh configuration designed for maximum strength.

As a spinning ball impacts the net, any slight abrasions on the ball will catch on loosely woven netting, causing premature wear. Our netting is tightly woven with a hand-sewn solid rope border that is UV protected to resist shrinking and snagging. The netting is continuously sewn throughout each mesh around the ½” head rope, rather than drop-loop, creating a stronger, more durable netting system. Carabiners (snap hooks) are attached to the head rope underneath the bordering to ensure it won’t be worn away by the constant movement of the snap hooks.

Forenet guarantees for your project:

  • Custom-sized netting for your exact height and length specifications.
  • Perimeter rope bordering for added stability, strength and durability with a symmetrical, aesthetic appearance.
  • Horizontal rib lines and vertical supports to provide additional strength and durability.
  • Galvanized hardware, guy wires, cables and carabiners ensure a tight fit and longer field life.

ALL NETTING CARRIERS A MANUFACTURER'S 5-YEAR PRO-RATED WARRANTY

Wire & Hardware

  • Hardware used in every job is always 5/16” galvanized or larger.
  • Pole line hardware meets or exceeds ANSI Standards.
  • All cables are attached to the poles using 5/16" galvanized thimbleye hardware to minimize pinching or kinking of wire.
  • We only use 5/16” galvanized carabiners (never smaller) for attaching netting panels and wind lines to framing and tension wires 20-24” on center.
  • Ground anchors are installed at the beginning and end of each netting section and at every bend for all guy wire attachments
  • Ground anchors are also used to stabilize front and back of each pole extension.

Steel & Wood Poles

Steel Poles

Knowing how important a durable foundation is to a netting system, Forenet uses steel poles from reputable pole manufacturers we've done business with for years. When a project requires steel poles, we offer different pole diameters (depending on project height) with a rust-resistant coating. Our steel poles come in various strengths and sizes and we utilize the latest cable technology for a tight, clean system providing maximum protection. Steel pole heights range from 10 to 100' and can extended up to 150', depending on the base engineering. Rock drilling services are available to penetrate difficult soil conditions comprised of ledge and rocks.

Wood Poles

For our wood pole installations, we use Penta or CCA pressure-treated poles. Wood pole heights range from 10'-85' and can be extended up to 25' with minimal business interruption.
